The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation has approved a Planning Grant of $40,000 to The Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change, Inc.
The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation has approved a Planning Grant of $40,000 to the Martin Luther King, Jr., Center for Nonviolent Social Change, Inc. The planning grant will help determine strategies to improve access to the Papers of Martin Luther King, Jr., at the KLA through use of state of the art technologies in the eventual development of an integrated network of electronic finding aids. The overall objective of the network is to improve researcher access to collections of King materials.
Cynthia Patterson Lewis, Director of Archives at the KLA will serve as principal investigator for the project.
