Outline of Speech at SCLC [Southern Christian Leadership Conference] in Nashville I. There can be no gain saying of the fact that a great social revolution is taking place in the south. It is a revolution that is sweeping away a system that has engulfed southern society [Crossed out: MS: illegible] since the supreme court rendered the famous Plesy ve[r]sus Ferguson decision. It is a revolution that is destroying an old order of paternalism and segregation, and ushering in a new order of freed and human dygnity.
