[Page 1] God Job 42:2 -"I know that thou canst do all things, and that no purpose of thine can be thwarted" This is a testimony of the omnipotence of God. God [Page 2] Job here affirms can do all things. His purpose can never be defeated. The last part of this statement we can readily agree with. If God be God at all he will ultimately achieve [Page 3] his purpose. Yet the affirmation that God can do every thing needs qualification. Certainly God cannot do that which is contrary to his rational nature; neither can he determine man's will at [Page 4] the same time not determine it. So it seems that God is limited by the logic of his own nature and also man's free will
