Man (John Scotus Eriugena) In the beginning the world was an undifferentiated whole: There was no genera, no species, no sex. Everything was perfect and united. But because of human sin all changed. Simplicity became complexity, homogeneity became heterogeneity, and all the ills of a divided appeared in the universe.
