The arrest of three dis minister, for no basic reason, represents a new low in the tactic that some southerners are willing to use to maintain a dying system. If people of goodwill, both Negro and white, will not take a stand against these Gestapo like tactics, our southland will plunged into a state of fascism, the like the world has never known. Beyond this I call upon Negros to remain non-violent and calm. Maybe we will purchase our freedom with the high price of suffering
