Ritschl; Albrecht: (1822-1889) Leading German theologian, latter half of nineteenth century. Born in Berlin, son of a preacher who became a bishop, he studied theology Bonn (1839-1841) and Kalle (1841-1843). He become [Underlined: MS: Illegible] in Bonn in 1846, where he taught until 1864. The remainder of his life was spent as professor of theology in [Gottinjen?].
