Above, Park Ranger from the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site places a wreath of remembrance on the front of Ebenezer Baptist Church on the 45th anniversary of the assassinationof Dr. King -- in the same spot a wreath was placed the day after SDr. King was assassinated in 1968.
In the King Center's Freedom Hall Auditorium, college students join with students of the Coretta Scott King Academy in a King Center-Centers for Disease Control and Prevention collaborative program to share informartion about youth violence and health care disparities on April 5th in commemorating the 45th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. King.
